Maintaining Basil
Pinch the tops of the basil plant often to keep the plant bushy; the plant will continue to grow from both sides of the stem. Remove flower buds as soon as they appear for better tasting basil.
Keep ground mulched, especially before it gets cold
Lightly water, allow soil to dry between waterings
5 - 9 weeks from seed to harvest
